There are probably 1,000,000 threads on this topic. But in short...yes. Our cars all vary a little bit. When I first got my coupe...my Nav was showing 14mpg. It has since stabled at about 17 in city and 23 on highway (I get 93 octane in Florida). Of course it varies depending on heavy your right foot is....

05 6MT sedan
700 miles new
I did 25.2 MPG on last tank fill. This is real measurement not NAV gauge.
Shift around 2500 RPM.
Freeway ~ 70 MPH
75% freeway, 25% city.
Need to be thrifty these days. I push the engine may once or twice a week.
Enjoy

Try telecommuting. I fill up about twice a month now at most. At that rate, I really don't care about the price of gas.

I'm consistently getting ~20mpg and paid $2.92/gal today. Can't complain since I knew I wasn't buying a Geo Metro.

In Venezuela they pay .12 cents a gallon because the country manufacturs alot of their own petroleom. It's insane. Anyone want to make a road trip down there?
