Sorry, but I used to love the system but as of yesterday the stock head unit has died for the 1st time. Time to call Infiniti again and set up another appt for a replacement. Its really unconvient for me to do this every month. Not too happy with Bose.

No i have had the same issues... The 4th day i owned my car they had to replace it because it didnt play cds. and now the POS sometimes in the middle of a cd decides that it is only going to allow the left or right side speakers to play only. So before it didnt play cds and now it cuts the sound on them....but for some reason all i have to do is switch the cds spots and its fine...
The head unit is not Bose, it's Clarion. The only part of our car that's Bose is the rear head speakers in the back and the amps that power them. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I have the same problem...mine reads disc error. And on top of it my dealer said the head unit is on backorder from Clarion. I am quite pissed off, my Svc. Mgr. said I shouldn't play burned discs, and I told him, thats not going to happen ! So everytime it ****z the bed I am coming back to get a new head unit, this is the only way Infiniti will resolve this issue!!!
Actually the cord, speakers, etc. are all OE'd by a subcontractor for Bose...
even the Clarion headunit is subcontracted to another supplier.
The only thing Bose is the engineer's work putting the sound together and
their approval. that's all.
anyway, mine's working great.
