Hey guys, first post here and may I say this site is awsome.....

But my post here is about this stinkin rust I'm seeing on my new G

I have an 05 with Sport package which most of you know comes with the OEM spoiler..... I notice the rusting in metal joints in between the spoiler and the trunk, it's small but considering that the car is 2 weeks old...... Well that's kind ****ty.... But just wondering out there if most you with spoilers have that trace of rust in-between....

Looks like i have to keep washing that GAP...... unless some of you have better suggestions......

BRING IT BACK TO THE DEALER!!!!! i'm sure they will take care of it for you. the area just needs to be sealed/waterproofed with sealant.

 

If you have spoiler and did NOT get the aero package, then your dealer probably installed it. But if you DID get the aero package, the spoiler was pre-installed in Japan. Either way, take it back before you loose your spoiler on the freeway.

 

When the dealer drilled the hole the probably didn't put any touch up and the
3M whether seal was not properly applied. It should be a easy fix.

 

What Z2G says bro. Don't let it stay as is. It needs disasembly and treatment. Go back to the dealer and raise hell.
