Weird smells after driving hard

finally after breaking in my engine, i went to town on the car. Flooring it and flying thru gears.

I got home today and it smelled like burned hair. WTF?

....clutch, brakes, exhaust, oil dripping on the exhaust (check you level),
or you were going Mach 2 and set your hair on fire.

Enjoy.

Its a combination of a few things.

1. Rubber from your tires. You drive hard, heating up the tires, thus making it smell like burnt rubber

2. If it is a 6MT, the clutch will smell. A little clutch smell is normal after driving very hard.

3. Brakes. If you accelerate and fly through gears, you are going very fasy, causing you to slow down more and be harder on your brakes, which heats them up and causes them to smell.

4. Other metal parts, such as the exhaust and what not heating up.

No worries bro!

oh ok, it's all normal... cool

I just want someone to evaluate my driving skills. I don't bog the car at all, nor am on the clutch very long. All my shifts are smooth and quick, but i don't know if i have the clutch in for too long or what

Maybe someone can point it out at the next chicago meet. And it is an '05 6spd
