Re: Borla dual exhaust group buy.

I think the people who are jumping out are primarily the people who jumped in late without doing their own research and understanding what type of product it is. Then there are people like our good friend GForce who has chronic Buyer's Remorse-itis. Do a search on how many times he changed his mind on ordering the car.

The Borla's a good choice if you want to make power, look stock, not spend much, and only sound like a hot rod when you're driving like one at high rpms. It doesn't compromise the luxury side of luxury-performance.

There's plenty negative to say about the Stillen: It costs nearly twice as much, is as many pounds heavier than the stock system as the Borla is lighter, and reportedly loses power at the low end. After all, it's a Stillen, the company whose strategy is to get to the market first and find out if it works second. I'm pretty sure I can get someone to polish the Borla's muffler for less than the $500 cost difference, if I so choose. I don't see much to like about the Stillen, unless you like its particular sound.

Anyway, to each his own.

Re: Borla dual exhaust group buy.

Hey give me a break I only changed my mind on my car order once. And I'm glas I did cause I would be second guessing the color to this day if I hadn't. And your right I did get in on the group buy late without having a chance to do much research. Thats why I opted out when I had the chance. Borla, Stillen, Ingen, and any company that makes products for this car right now is taking a shot in the dark right now it's brand new. I'm just gonna wait and buy something else so I dont have to be taking exhaust systems on and off my car like so many people do. Not you guys just people in general. I'm sure Borla makes a good product but it just doesn't seem like what I'm looking for.

DOes anyone have sound clips of the exhaust with the G? I have heard the ones with the Z but the G ought to sound slightly different since its stock one does.

I don't think there is a better exhaust out there yet. My buddie has it on his Z and it looks great, sounds awesome when your on the gas, adds plenty of HP, and cheap, If there was another exhaust our there that was soooo much better. We would have that one. In the mean time, I will have a Borla.
