Quote: Yeah, seriously. How is it that I'm insecure again? Because I call him out on misleading statements like Crawford headers have been "proven" to have the best gains of any header out there? And ask to see that evidence supporting his claims, of which he gives me none? Then he "threatens" to "ignore" me after someone else shows he is giving misinformation by calling a Nismo header picture an Alphawerks one? And he tells me to come back and "apologize" when I can admit I'm wrong...you tell me who is ignorant, Finiti. I have nothing against you; you seem like a nice enough gal--but I am also not willing to act like just because someone is a well-known contributing member that he must be right all the time. And I don't think it's fair that he promotes his company (trust me, he's in cahoots with Crawford somehow) as "the best" with no proof. I know I am not the only one who feels this way, I'm just apparently the only one with the ***** to challenge his "authority". If that means I'm ignorant and insecure, then you just keep telling yourself that. It won't change my opinion of you. I don't let people "not liking me" get to me--especially on the Internet! I DO let blatant misinformation get to me. I'm fighting for the truth, and for other not-so-smart forum members to be presented with ALL the info and make an informed decision. So say what you will folks...I don't plan on "ignoring" someone just because I can't take the heat. I'd rather help a fellow forum member know what IS true, and what HAS been proven. I don't have to "do dyno days" to do that. And I get the headers and cats (and invidia g200) installed on Wednesday. I'll be sure to post impressions.
Hey I didn't mean for my comment to come across as directed against you in particular. I have read enough ignorant comments trying to object neffster's posts coming from people who have no clue what they're talking about. I totally agree that calling something "the best" is an opinion, not a fact. But this week we're having a dyno day where a coupe with Nismo headers and another one with Crawford will be put on the same dyno back to back, and guess what. Neffster is the originator of this again, and dynos don't lie. I would have to say, I'm glad you're getting your mods soon and that you've done an adequate amount of homework instead of jumping on the bandwagon and buying what everyone does. But you have to admit that posting your impressions isn't enough to prove gains. If you do a baseline, get your mods installed, then jump on the dyno again, then you have undeniable proof. Neffster has provided this forum with this kind of proof not once or twice. I'll give him that. So it's not only about being a long-time poster, it's what you've contributed to this forum, and he has contributed a lot. He has done a lot more research, talked to more people and seen more mods than 99% of the people on this forum. Your Crawford comment sounds a little absurd, but it's none of my business. I look at it this way, I try to see the objective in one's posts and respond to the subjective part with a proven fact if I disagree. And no, I'm not a Neffster groupie. I too have argued with him about the famous Crawford package....

Quote: Haha....only problem is, I respect her and don't care to see her be objectified. She deserves better than that. She wouldn't agree to it, anyway. Maybe I'll push for a "fully clothed" shot or two. But you guys wouldn't be interested in that....
It's scary how many things I can get away with just for being a girl huh A shot or two? We will take some at dyno day

Quote: Do Dynapacks just read really high or something?
Dynapacks read HP without the wheels on.. this way you have one less thing to factor (Wheels tires etc..) those change too often.. this way you get a nice solid baseline.. IMO its better for tuning..

thanks for all the replies. all the rest of the bolt-ons get here wednesday(borla/cats/plenum)..i was a dumbass and didnt get a dyno when i was stock. but i will post dyno sheet a week or so after all the mods settle in. i dont think they are a complete waste, but i definetly think they made a better improvement on previous years.

You are not the only 05 to loose 04....as for mods....they can be tricky....most rob from Peter to pay Paul....Too many mods= Too many robbers.....Most mods were designed to produce based on stock parameters....i.e. they Do Not compliment each other...Muliple mods mean you have to get your car tuned.....see what combination works best....don't be surprised if certain mods get left out....get to a tuner...(I'm a little drunk excuse me...but words are truth).

it was an E46... he was in his late (50's) i think driving in front of me on the freeway. we were both going around 55mph... and as soon as i switched lane threw my gear into 3rd with my clutch depressed, he did the same and took off first chirping. i then followed him and slowly came up to his rear bumper at the end of 3rd and as soon as i shift into 4th i was walking up to him and than walked lil faster from there on... maybe he wasn't trying, but his E46 sure was screaming when i was pulling next to him. maybe he really didn't try... well if i was driving an E46 and a G pulled up i would take it to the limit to kick some a$$...
