I have a 04 G35C with 13,000 miles and my hood is hitting on both fenders edges, chiping the paint off my hood and fenders. And to top it off Sewell Infiniti said they will not warrenty it. This car has never been hit wrecked or even has a scratch or door ding. Has anybody else had a problem with thier hoods?

 

If they don't warranty it call Infiniti and tell them about the problem...they have to fix your car if it's still under warranty.

 

Ya, I allready have a call into them, waiting for a response. I should hear something tomorrow. I need to hear from some people that might have had a problem with thier hoods.

 

Ya, if they give me anymore crap I'm taking it back where I bought it ( Grubb's ) the problem is I have to drive past 2 other Infiniti dealerships to get to them. But they have always taken really good care of me everythime I go up there it's just a long drive.

 

Go straight to the GM and tell him your problems. It always works for me...

I had the same issue. I'm from Chicago and the dealership I went to had no problem replacing the hood hinge, under warranty. They even offered to repaint the places where there was rubbing.

(It took only about a half day, BTW.)

 

you can say that again, got my first one already a foot above my 3M Bra....

Definitely a warranty issue. If dealership does not cooperate, contact consumer affairs and file a claim number
