I am going to be moving to Washington, DC at the end of October. I was wondering what the chances are that a dealership is going to have something like this in stock on the lot:
6MT
Athens Blue
Graphite Leather Interior
Sunroof
XM or Sirius Radio
Areo Body kit WITHOUT spoiler

If the chances are slim, how long does it take for them to get a car like this? Do most people take what's on the lot, or do you get it custom ordered? About what should I be looking to pay? Does anyone happen to have any pictures of a car that fits this description?

You can email the dealers and see if they have any in stock..

I test drove a g35 coupe at the infiniti dealer in tysons corner last weekend. (about 15mins outside DC in VA) They seemed to have a pretty good stock of cars both the 6mt and auto.

I am sure you can give them a ring and ask about stock. Thier number is 703.556.6900

Good luck and welcome to DC!

Dealers don't usually have that many 6MT's. And they will almost never have coupes without the premium package. Have the dealer do a search, they can find any car in the country that matches your specs. If you order you'll have to see if they can do a change order for one they have on order or put in a new order with their next order. If it is not already being built you will have to wait at least 3 months (takes 45 days to ship on the boat). If you order now, I'd suggest waiting for the 2006 MT's supposedly due out in Jan/Feb. When i was looking for 6MT athens blue in July they had 1 other one in the country the way i wanted it, so ended up ordering. currently awaiting delivery on 9/7

When do the 2006's come out? Is there a spec sheet listing on what's different? I would assume that a 2005 would sell for less than an '06 - so both cars being new, wouldn't it be better to get an 05?

won't be that big of a price difference for the 6MT's, they're pretty rare.
