Lowered BASE MSRP??
Lowered BASE MSRP??
Finally I am seeing my car on the dealer's inventory list!!! but...I remember that when I ordered my Qnumber coupe the base MSRP was 31550 (same as on Edmunds.com now). However, the infiniti website shows otherwise.. it is actually $150 cheaper than what it is on edmunds.com. does anyone know what's going on? Which one is the right price? My car will be here in a few days... Before I walk into the dealer to pay for my car, I would like to hear all your thoughts!
thanks,

Re: Lowered BASE MSRP??
The price of the car went up $150 about two/three months ago, and the infiniti website probably doesn't reflect that increase. You should be paying whatever you negotiated for the car - no more no less.
Re: Lowered BASE MSRP??
2 things,
the 150 price diff is when car orig came out, it didn't have an armrest. they added it and 150. the little blue book the sales reps use have the old price. edmunds, kelleys (kbb) both have the updated price.
the first 04's are S orders, due in beginning of September. If you are leasing car and negotiated deal, it doesn't matter. If you plan to hold car for a while, it still shouldn't matter much because in setting price, you offset age with miles. But if you plan on selling in 2-4 years, you might want to wait.
