Okay

I rarely post. I usually just enjoy reading others comments and learning from other post, but on this matter I have to chirp in. After researching (and saving) for two years I just bought my new 05 auto/coupe (white) two months ago. And after seeing the new '06 design I'm glad I did

I bought it with fully loaded with Navi, but I chose to get the 17" rims because I knew that I wanted the '04 18s in chrome. I found a set of newly chromed rims and painted spoiler online ($900 and $200). Not bad seeing I got the car for $35k out the door.

IF I had an 05 I wouldnt trade it in for an 06 since I dont think the changes are that incremental to justify the hit on the trade in. Since I dont have one, I would definitely get the 06 over the 05 even if I paid more. I think the 06 looks great. I dont know whats the big deal about the bumper, looks fine to me. The Nismo bumper has the same "smile" ( the outside edge angle up and away) but everybody like that one over the stock 05 "frown".

I don't think they "ruined it" but i'll take the 03-05 front bumper with oem lip over that new bumper any day. I also prefer the older tails because they are more agressive, and that rear wing looks like Data Systems

When will see the "06" on the showroom floor or the road. I want to put an order for one in but am waiting to see it up close and personal. I don't mind waiting for it to come from Japan. It will just make driving it when it gets here that much sweeter.

+1.....but another lip spoiler would suit me better.

The rest of the new Coupe looks great.

Make that another one that does not like the changes. From these pictures there isn't anything that makes it look better. The new bumper doens't look as aggresive or symetrical and the rear wing looks less sporty. The car has a look of slightly more smoothness and refinement but that isn't really what I'm after with this type of car.

The '06 pictures up to this point make it look like an older car than the '03-'05's in my opinion.

Actually, I'd be willing to bet similar packages parked along side one another, and then getting someone who'd never owned either and don't know much about the model line would agree with me.

The small changes physically just aren't appealing to me over my '04. No chance I'll trade.
Nose is flatter looking to me, almost less aerodynamic. The wing is just silly looking.

I'd certainly consider a retrofit of the bluetooth capability though, if it can be done.

My .02, it looks like a sedan now. But the tails looks like the M35/45. That's the only plus.

I think this has been talked about before, I dont like the new front spoiler, but the side sills are defenitelly better. Its not ruined, but I like the 05 a little better cuz I own a 6MT and I wouldnt be able to get a 6MT without the spoiler.

I agree... I waited to see the 06 pics last week and to me it's nothing exciting. I was going to trade, BUT... no major reason to now.

The only changes I like is the new projectors, intell key and bluetooth.

The front bumper looks weird, the wing is straight up ugly, the headlamp are cool and the tail light look o.k. In other words, I'll stick with my '03.

I would not go as far to say that the '06 G Coupe is ruined. Infiniti has made some changes. I am quite sure they will not encounter any problems with sales of the said . . . Just a hunch.
