I dont think its that bad. of course not as good as i would have hoped but.....

 

The front end, taillights and spoiler all look odd. Just adding projectors would've been a better choice.

 

Ahhh...does the 06 look like it has higher clearance? Or it's just me

 

Not feeling the front bumper, rear tail lights, and spoiler... Everything else is alright...

the only thing that i dont like is the rear lights .. and i want the key also.

 

Car might like beautiful in person, pictures are decieving! Some new neat features like the projectors and intel keys are pluses. The new bumper is like a replica done wrong for the nismo front, and the spoiler looks like the data system. who knows it might look hot in person

 

I wouldn't say "ruined it". "Ruined" is the new 3-series, or the Z4 when it first came out. But definitely not what I expected as far as the exterior. Those reverse lights remind me of the 03-04 sedan

 

I just bought an 05'..... so I was kinda of worried. With the exception the inteli key, blue tooth and projectors, there is no real major changes. So no regrets on the 05' here.

It just appears Infiniti made a little nip and tuck here and there.

I still prefer the 05' shape and interior.

But overall, I can live with Infiniti's vision for 06'.... but for those who buy an 06'.... 07' may be worth waiting for.

 

I still can't dig the new brushed stainless over rubber altima istyle nterior on the newest models. I think the altima looks better and is a wonderful interior but why can't I like it in an Infiniti? It's not like the 03-04's are great but has Nissan seen what the audi and 3 are like inside?

I've had 2 instances where im SO GLAD That my molding wasn't part of my front bumper, that's a bad idea on their part.

No spoiler is really gay, looks like...whats that aftermarket one?

 

IF there is a redesign in 07 I think it will be for the sedan, followed by the coupe close to 08. But theres no way I'm buying a first year build Infiniti guinea pig so waiting for 08/09 is way to long for me. I'll take a refined 06 now (or at least a few months from now)

In terms of the refresh, there's nothing earth shattering, but still enough for me to buy it instead of an 05

 

I've somewhat OCD about cars keeping their symmetry. I enjoy the addition of the intelikey trunk opening, but it's really lame they made it off-center. IMO they just ruined the rear end, and that's something which can't be mended by debadged.
