IT GOT WORSE!!!!! YUCK!

 

not feeling the new bumper or wing. Taillights are basically the same. Only thing I like are thr projectors. If I were offered an 05 and 06 for the same price, I would go with the 06 just for resale, and the few upgrades I like (go aftermarket wing, bumper), but I am perfectly happy with and will keep my 05.

 

it's not that much different. what do you not like about it? "yuck" explains nothing.

 

These are just minor changes, I wouldn't say it's ruin...

 

I used to not like the orange lights in the front, but they grew on me and in the end I decided I didn't want to change them.

I definitely like the old rearl ight better. I think the spaced out/larger diagonal lights MUCH better and more agressive on the original. I'm not a fan of the reverse light either.

I wonder what the button/sensor is between the reverse lights and the tailights? Is is a trunk release button? maybe a parking sensor?

 

i like the new front better, but i like the old rear lights and spoiler better. overall its not a big change and i like both.

 

I personally like the 06' changes expect for the wing...

 

Oh is that color in the picture a new color? Or is that laser red?

 

I don't mind the new front bumper or the rear spoiler. I actually like the new spoiler better, as it flows better with the car. It's also a little more descrete, which I like.

As for the taillights, I prefer the 03-05 style's backup lights. I like the circular backup lights as opposed to the 06's slanted backup lights. And I don't like how they got rid of the clearance strip on the headlights. However, I do like the new projectors.

Basically, there's a little give or take everywhere.

The new front bumper inlets are cut wierd, smaller and look odd. I like my retro-projectors better. Those new ones are too pointed. The ovals in the lights don't match the shape of the car!

The tails suck!!! They covered the LED's the retangle reverse light sucks! Everything on the car is round yet they add a square light to the car! ODD!!!

They made it look worse, more like the sedan. Less sporty.... Sorry Infiniti, but I wouldn't buy this car if it was an '04.

I don't like the '05-'06 inside at all.

The smart key, and dash instruments are +++'s

 

It is a trunk release for the Intelligent Key. Although if you don't have the intelligent key option, then when you unlock the doors you press the button and it releases the trunk. Its somewhat convenient, however on the sedan it is in the back bumper (see pic in sig) and it is stupid to touch the paint IMO. So it actually is on a good place for the coupe.

 

I like the new front bumper but hate those reverse lights.

Looks like the clearance strip won't light up on the '06 either.

 

The new '06 Is beautiful...ur trippin Wrah. I was planning on keeping my 03 sedan for a while, but I might have to trade it in for one of these.

I think the reverse lights flow real nice with the back of the car and give a real aggressive aerodynamic look...and the front lights are a WORLD of improvement. They have projectors and they are cleared out...what else do you need?

The Front looks like it already has a lip built in, and once dropped will look that much nicer.

The Rims are gorgeous, I saw a coupe driving the other day and I thought they were aftermarket rims until the car stopped moving. Those rims are nicer than a lot of aftermarket IMO.

The spoiler is whatever, I was never a fan of the original one, but I like this one better just because as some one stated...little more low profile.

Interior of the 05/06's makes the 03/04's look like absolute garbage. The materials used are a WORLD of improvement.

Once the critics see these in real life, I think a lot of people will change their tune.
And if not, you still got the original, so no sweat off your back.
