Vortech or Procharger

I wanted to get some influence from you guys on which is better and why. What are the pros and cons. It seems to me that the vortech puts out alot more power, but maybe Im missing something on the procharger. Thanks

i believe the procharger puts out more power but vortech has less blown engines than the procharger.

Vortech is known to be the most reliable. If you wanna take a higher risk of a blown engine go with procharger

ATI puts out more HP. As far as being safe, that has to do with tunning it right. Any supercharger tunned right will have no problems and tunned incorrectly will probably have catastrophic consequences. The ATI and Vortech are both good systems, so it really depends on taste and $. Good luck.

Isn't the Vortec cyntrifical? Wouldn't that create some nice lag?

Another vote for Vortech

Fun, safe and reliable (as far as FI goes anyhow)

You only really feel the lag from a dead stop. If yer rolling at all....just downshift to a low gear and you won't feel the lag

Procharger is great for mustangs but the vortech is hands down more reliable on VQ motors
