If you are going to speed and I do not support speeding. Make sure you can not hurt anyone else but yourself

Yes, I'm an old lady with a coupe but also a mom with 2 teenage girls and it makes my stomach churn when I read about this kind of driving. This incident just happened this Friday. The guy who killed the teenager was going 100 mph. The kid who died was just 15 and wasn't even involved in the drag racing.

"ELK GROVE, Calif. -- Authorities said street racing may be to blame for a wreck that killed one and injured five others in Elk Grove on Friday afternoon.

The wreck occurred at Franklin Boulevard and Roselin Way, fire officials reported.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident, but pieces were spread over a wide area following what officials are calling a high-speed accident.

The T-bone wreck resulted when one car was heading along Franklin at a high speed when another vehicle tried to make a left turn in front of the oncoming car, bystanders told KCRA 3."

Just out of curiousity...what speed rating did your tires have when you were going at those speeds?

His car must be a coupe. They have a high speed rating if he has the sport suspension set-up. My '06 has a Y rating...I'm thinking it should be around there...

Sounds good...
Wouldn't want to see his tires blowing up on him at those speeds.

they were toyo t1r with a stock body 275 in the back and 245 with a Z Speed rate (+149mph)... a Y speed rating of 186mph or 300km/h if you want to be exact.

some of you guys swear 100mph is hard to achieve.. we hit 112 dynoing our cars.. some of us break 100 on the qt..

off-topic for sure, but why do the posted pictures (thumbnails and full size) on this forum usually show up to me as splotchy red/yellow/green/bluish things? I even work at my university's tech. help desk, and nobody in here knew? it's annoying....... any ideas?
