There is no real need for it. He already did it for you....just knowing what your car is capable of is enough for most. Glad no one got hurt, but honestly, SoCal highways aren't the best for that kind of stuff...reason being is that one minor pothole will send you wobblin out of control...I can't imagine what a wreck at that speed would look like, as well as what the car would look like as well

A "safer" place to try it is headin from SoCal to Vegas....only thing to worry bout would be the cops...

I got a ticket going 123mph in my old VW Passat. The cop handcuffed me until he figured out that I wasn't drunk. The day before my court hearing I photoshopped some docs saying my car was electronically governed at 110mph. To make a long story short the case was thrown out because of inconstancy purposes.

That's so stupid. Take it to track. Guarentee more the thrills and danger without hurting someone else. Even if folks are doing at 75mph on the freeway you are still doing 78mph in excessive of them. Put it in persepective it is equivalent of doing over 100mph + on a residential street of 25mph. btw this is no flame. Doing constant 150+ just is not smart on public roads.

Basically he's saying its the same thing as hitting a parked car from the rear at 78mph....ouch! Im not into the e-flaming thing though but these are some crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy numbers and thoughts that the person driving this should consider...very mind boggling!

You guys gotta take this to the track.
Imagine if you lost control (very easy at that speed even with the slightest bump on the road). Let's say you take out someone's parents going 75 MPH. You've just ruined the lives of your family and someone else's family forever.
I've met Klumyzee in person, and he's a good guy. But you're not going to get very far in this society with vehicular manslaughter on your record. You can forget any type of grad school.
I take this stuff personally because my parents drive on the Socal freeways. I wouldn't be forgiving at all if an accident like this occurs because someone's going 158 MPH.
