I put mine on using GPlate. Good stuff. No hole drilling required.

Im in Texas.... It is required! However, I don't have mine on. No way am I drilling into my bumber. I am also in the Navy. It is also required to display the LP on the front of your vehicle. To work around that issue, I place it in my windshield when I come on base. No problems otherwise, so it stays off my front end!

There is someone on this board who built a piece that connects to the tow hook so you don't need to drill. I think thats the "GPlate" discussed above. You should check that out.

I know it looks bunk - but I'm not trying to give a cop ANY reason to pull me over. But hey, do what I did . . . move to a different state (CT to MI)

I haven't put mine on and I have yet to have anyone say anything. I don't plan on installing it until a police office tells me I have to via a 'fix-it' ticket.

I bought my G used and did not have a front liscence, and I never bothered to put it on. I've went by quite a few cops(city, sheriff, and hiway patrol), but none have pulled me over yet. Probably because I don't fit the profile and driving the speed limit. In Washington state we currently are required to have a front plate, but there is a petition on the books.

I'm in Cali, and I have my front plate on using the Stillen adapter. I don't want to give a cop ANY reason to pull me over. Besides, I honestly don't think it looks that bad anyways.

10,000+ miles : 1 Ticket so far.

And I might add that ticket would have been a speeding ticket otherwise, and the cop was being nice.
