The dealer can set the pressure setting if you take it in.
When I switched from the stock 17s to the 18s they said they might have to reset the pressure cause my car was set for the 17" pressure setting. It has been fine though. They were going to charge $40 for the reset .

Are you using a digital pressure gauge? I notice when I use the cheap gauge w/ the white stick, it could off by 1 psi and it'll set the warning light on. Have you actually gone and filled all the tires up with air?

$40 so they walk around the car and push a couple of buttons?

Make sure you are checking the PSI when the tires are cold. That was my mistake when I had this issue. I just filled them up with a little more air and the light stopped going off.

The cheap pen gauges are actually as much as 5psi off. The digital new ones seem to be accurate, I went out to a local automotive store and got this $10 analog heavy duty metal one with a needle. It also has a button on the neck to let the air out if you need to. I love it.
And just to make sure we are all on the same page, the coupe with 18s should have 35psi all around when cold, this means not driven for a while.

My sensor went off last weekend. One tire was about 3 lbs lower than the others. I brought them all up to 35 PSI. Took the car for a short drive, and the indicator light turned off.

Here's a link for TPSM light check list...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the sensors checking for a difference from the other tires rather than for a specific pressure?

Did you recently swap tires? It's possible you have a bad sensor. Best bet is probably to take it into the dealer if you've verified the pressure in all 4 tires is good.

when you rotate tires the computer will figure that out on its own? The link shows that each sensor is identified by original position (so if a tire is low it indicates which one). If you replace a wheel or set you need to have the new sensor reset by the dealer? thanks.
