Its called a scratch...its not going anywhere unless you go to a glass shop to get it buffed....I took it in and the dealer told me it was "something that got caught".....but Im not moron because glass isn't supposed to be this soft and I not only keep my car washed in waxed, but it is garaged AND car covered AND its only a weekend ride....so I KNOW for a fact nothing was caught in between. So they told me they are just going to change the wiper blades (taking the cheap way out)...

I highly doubt it's a scratch, well maybe in your case is it. But that "line" you see if caused by the rubber of the wiper. Have you ever made scuff marks with ur tennie shoes across a floor? Now image that but in a much smaller scale. True you can buff it out or use chemical agents to remove it but if it were a scratch, I dont think you could buff it out.

I hear there are less "lines" with silicon wiper blades....maybe give them a shot?

No, it is known that Infiniti glass scratches easily...Ill dig up the thread...and just FYI, if its a light scratch, IT can be buffed out of the glass (some have reported hazy windshields after though)....but by a glass repair shop, not by you.

Edit: Here is the link

like i said before, u like how the car looks. If it had different panels all around im sure the G would not be as popular as it is. i say break down and spend 300-500 bucks and get some aftermarket glass.
