Big Problem With My G

Listen up Everyone might want to get this checked out if you bought an 05 G with the performance wheel package. I got my G about Feb. 1st no problems for the first 7 months or so. I went out with my friend to a bar and we drag raced a Honda w/some mods. (God I hate people with Honda's that think they can beat me!). After the race we went to my buddys house and he noticed a clicking sound out of the right rear tire everytime the car shifted weight from front to back or vica versa or however you spell it. In other words when the car moved from a dead stop i heard the sound. I took my car in to get the7500 sevice and explained the noise to the service tech. To make a long story short I went to pick up my G and he told me that my none of the bolts on my rear axel were torqed to spec. I laughed at first because i thought he was joking but he wasnt. It took them 2 days just get my 7500 mile service done with the axel work. Have any of you had this problem? Heads up if you hear that noise make sure you get it fixed fast.

wow...that's pretty serious. I had some noise coming from the back but it seemed to be tranny related. I'll have them check it out when I go back

This is a common problem with G35 coupes and the 350z's. It is actually a recall and any dealer will fix it.
