It just took a newbie to point it out.

He doesn't think he's a noob. Yet he has contributed nothing.

I agree, the coupe forum has definitely gone down in quality lately. more than half the posts arent even about the cars anymore. Ms G35? how much more off topic can you get?

And FYI, even with 800 posts, you can still be a newb if you just joined 3 months ago. Not singling anyone out, I just think its funny when I see a guy who joined this summer, but thinks he is a vet just because he is a post *****.

There, now I have gone and contributed to the bitch factor of the site while adding to a post that has nothing to do with coupes.

I don't think I am a veteran. Hell, I don't think I'm even qualified to comment on other forums. I'm a noob to the whole thing. I do think I am a post ***** cos I'm on a lot of goofy threads but yet at the same time I have contributed to G35 based discussions , I've learned from them, and I've helped others newer than myself who ask the same questions I did. I use this site for education and entertainment. Should this site change to meet with his approval? Where is the constructive part of his criticism? Where is his CONTRIBUTION?

If you don't contribute you have no right to complain.
If youdon't cook the meal you can't complain about how it tastes.
Beggars can't be choosers. How many different ways can I put this?

I will be concerned about his opinion THE VERY DAY HE STARTS HIS SECOND THREAD AND IT SOMEHOW EDUCATES AND ENLIGHTENS ME!

But let's talk personal responsibility. Anyone that wants informative threads is free to start one, and anyone that doesn't like the goofy $hit is free to avoid it. If you don't like what's on this site have more input and start more technical stuff or find a different site. I like to goof off but at the same time have always been able to get the technical info I need. That's how I got my rims for example. Have some impact on the programming or change the friggin channel. But don't whine about it.

Now lets review your own efforts - they are here for all to see:

https://g35driver.com/forums/search.php?searchid=419066

You have 10 posts since May - 5 in this B1tch thread alone. 1 on the Miss G35Driver thread, 1 where you chided someone for their grammar, 1 about digital cameras, AND TWO ABOUT G35'S. Perhaps the problem is you, 'cos you my friend, are an info leech who contibutes zero, zilch, nada, bupkus.

So put up or shut up. But don't complain that we aren't educating your lazy a$$ fast enough.

IT IS WHAT IT IS Accept it or **** off. Either way - I don't much care for whining.

well, the quality on this board is definately sub-par compared to the two other boards i frequent often. www.mr2oc.com (mr2 boards) and miataforum.com

Seems that the age group here is younger and people have more money and dont' seem to appreciate the finer aspects of owning such a great car.

but then what the hell do i know.

Just post in the right area and then it's "No harm - no foul".

That's why there is Off-topic and Finer Living etc. etc.
Things will improve when THE KIDS go back to school.

I've been viewing this board for quite some time now. These days, the topics seem a bit childish. It seems more like a chat room than a forum of informative info. I could point out certain examples, but I'm sure you guys/gals know what I mean. This board has gone to the level of some civic forums; meaningless topics..

I'm feeling that the quality of this board has gone down. Anyone else feel this way?
Why don't u stop talking and say good stuff like what u said. Show me what r u gonna talk about

BINGO! OT would clean up ALL the threads.. ie: Miss G35 should be an OT thing. I do love G35driver always something to read, but OT would help clean up some of the mess.

Congrats- you've attracted the attention of the Admins!

The prizes include:
a) Us deleting threads that are not pertinent to the forum in which they are posted. No, they won't be moved, they'll be deleted. Deleting your misplaced thread takes me 10 seconds and three mouse clicks, moving it just... well, it's not that much harder, but you should be punished anyway.

b) You can get Banned (c)! Watch as your repeted inability to realize that others have to sift through this is rewarded with a shiney new "Banned" banner under your name. Ooh, it twinkles.

c) My general ire. If you offend to the level that is just annoying enough, you get to go on GeoBau's Sh*t List (2005 Edition). Once you're there, you're there to stay, and I may decide to toy with you before I kick your butt to the curb

Seriously though, guys. POST IN THE RIGHT FORUM and READ THE RULES. Failure to comply will result in your account deletion, and my not caring.

PS- For those incapable of reading more than three lines down the page, there is an Off Topic forum! There are also Regional forums, Mod forums, Tech forums, etc. Just because you own a coupe does not mean your thread needs to go right here.

The problem this Board is experiencing happens to most Boards. People know where to post their off topic stuff, but they want to get the biggest audience so they post in the car forum. Unless the Board administrator intervenes, the off topic stuff overwhelms the car discussions, and serious posters begin to abandon the Board. I saw the same thing happen on the M3forum.com Board about a year ago and the administrator took the same hard line position that you are taking. Believe it or not but it took several months of posts being either deleted or relocated before posters began to get the idea that the administrtor was serious.

Thanks for your help.
