If I valet, I just throw the guy a $20 for him to drive my car about 5 feet and keep it there. I used to take advantage of the free valet in Vegas a lot, tipping ~$5 or so, but I've found that the time/mental anguish saved by having them just keep my car at the front door is well worth a $20 bill.

Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, never, never valet park your car. I used to valet park cars while in college and I can tell you some horror stories I did to the cars. I once got a brand new 1998 Corvette and took it on the freeway up to 130mph while the guy was in da club.

Here's another story. Our lot was like 6 blocks away from the club, so we used to use cutomers SUV'S to shuttle our drivers back and forth. After we used one for a bit we would switch to another one. Sometimes we would have to add some gas (the cheap chit of course) cause we used so much.

Again....Never, never, never, never, never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever valet your car.

Never valet your car because you happened to be a dick when you did the job (or, showed up to work and didn't properly do your job)? I've never had a problem ever, in the 11 years I've been driving, with a valet service.

Newsflash: the majority of valets out there aren't ****** who enjoy f*cking with someone's ride. The amount that can't seem to do their jobs, however, ruin it for the rest of them.

No need to attack me cause I was dumb when I was young.

Edit: comment uncalled for...

***Newflash**** Even if I didn't rag on the cars, we still used customers cars to shuttle drivers back and forth. The orders to do so came for the owner of the valet company. So even if it is a minority of valets that ruin for everyone, the fact remains that you will never know what is going to be done with you car if you valet it. Sorry buddy, I am not trying to put you out of business just stating my experiences.
