2006 rear taillights

This may have been covered before, but I understand that the rear lights are getting a makeover for next year. Has anyone seen photo???

Check out this thread. I like them, but a lot of people don't like the rectangular reverse lense.

People have been guessing here that the headlights might cost alot
to replace, if my memory serves me right, about $3K

Anyone who pays $3,000 to replace those is out of their freaking minds. Thats almost there for a Supercharger.

I think they changed to square reverse lights cause they added the trunk release in the back. And if they kept the original circle ones like on the 03-05 the trunk release wouldn't fit. Guess they did that to porportion everything out .

I don't think there ugly to say, maybe if they put back the clearance light.

any OEM part is an arm and a leg, the 19" OEM rims cost 1 grand EACH. Anything from factory is 10x normal prices. you retrofit projectors yourself and save a whole lot of money

i think the reverse lights actually make the rear look more aggresive (which destroys the idea of continuity with the goofy smiling front). And it doesn't look so bad with the trunk lines IMO.
