If I may just add, he's right to not want to race when gas price is going out of hand. Why waste money for such insignificant reason. I actually laugh at those people that drive aggressively lately.

I was actually looking forward to the race but the actual story turned out to be funnier. These are the kind of stories you need to see or be a part of to really appreciate what a fool the other guy must of looked like.

My friend has an auto RX-8 and damn they are slow. By second gear I was a cars length ahead and i have an auto also. Plus can't believe how bad of gas mileage they get even compared to our g's. The 1/4 mile is 16.1 according to road and track on the RX-8's.
Yeah they really toned down the Auto RX-8s. Significantly less HP numbers, and the transmission was horrible. The 6-speed was okay, but still didn't deliver that bang for your buck that I felt the G did.
