Door problem

Has anyone had issues with their doors? Mine shuts on it's own, as if the stopper is not doing it's job. I remember there was a post regarding this issue, but I can't seem to find it now. I am taking in my car for service soon, and would like them to check it out. Thanks for your help.

I'm not to sure about the door but i've been trying to fix my cd changer all day. I cannot eject listen or load a cd. Does anyone know how to reset the bose 220 in-dash cd changer?

I thought you can just turn off the car, and turn it back on. If that doesn't work, there must a fuse you can unplug and plug back in. If that doesn't work, unplug the battery and plug it back in. Good luck bro.

1- Try holding the eject button while turning on the car.
or
2- <img src=http://jabberwoq.com/images/emoticons/bangin.gif> Beat the crap out of it.

Re: Bose cd changer error code "CD ERR FO"

It's a problem just about as old as the car bro. .Only thing I've heard that you can do is to push and hold the Eject button to force it to clear. Barring that solution the dealership should be well aware of the issue and know exactly what to do.= exchange the changer and send it in to Clarion.
The old changer will go back to Clarion and Clarion will ship your cd's back to you. Give your name and address to the dealer to accompany the unit.
Too bad dude , but it happens frequently has been related to using wrong cd's.????????

Re: Door problem

Not to take anything away from the CD changer problem, but has anyone had any issues with the door problem I mentioned in the original post?

Re: Door problem

Think the Posts you are speaking of were opposite to what you are experiencing. Their doors would not close properl, but was fixed by the dealer by adjusting.

Re: Door problem

Yeah, my door is blood thirsty, as is the pass door. If you throw the door open, it *is* coming back with a vengence. If you carefully extend the door until it reaches an indent, but then move around in the car at all, the door is coming for you.. I've had it catch my foot two or three times.

Re: Door problem

Yeah I've had the same problem. Thought it was just me! The door is always swinging shut on me. Really annoying if you park on a hill. Maybe there is a way to tighten the stopper somehow, but it doesn't appear to be easy... Let us know if service is able to adjust it for you.

Re: Door problem

ok, I'll let you know what the dealer says/does. My girlfriend hates the door, because it always closes on her.

Re: Door problem

Sounds like your gf is jealous - or perhaps, the car is jealous of her? LOL
Does it do that with other people too, or just her?

Re: Door problem

Hmm, I have also noticed the door shuts pretty easily, but I like it that way, I love it how i open the door, jump in and the door closes without me touching it, people look at me like the door is mechanicaly automated, I just tell them it's a big heavy door (it is, this thing swings out like a helicopter blade).

But back to my point, I don't think this is a problem with the door's hinges or anything, I think it was made to close easier because the door is so huge.

Re: Door problem

It might be the girl. I'll tell her to take it easy on the door next time We keep having this debate if the car is getting more attention because of her, or if she is getting more attention because of the car. Which one is it? LOL
