All I know is that we've got to hang one of them.

I think G35Coupe is out of line here... If your unhappy with someone take it up with them, but don't deface them on the forum.

That's just bad business.

I work 12-15 hours a day, 6-7 days a week in real estate/construction, and the FIRST THING I DO IN THE MORNING is return ALL MY CALLS!!!

That's how you maintain a professional reputation in the both the business world and personal interactions.

6 years on e-bay with 100% feedback---- all it takes is a modicum of communication.

We are all glad you are worth 2.5 mil +, but being so rich/good looking/cool doesn't relieve you of either the big responsibilities or the small ones.

I don't think for a minute you are trying to "scam" ANYONE, esp. for $150.......I just don't believe you think it's worth following up on. That speaks volumes.......

Just my 2 cents, don't expect change back.

Gee DG, to busy to return a call or email for a week. If I had a $ for everytime I've heard that BS. Bad business attracts bad karma. Your excuses sound LAME.

Are you for real? You started bashing one of the most honest guys I know (if the not THE most honest), and now all of the sudden you expect this to be kept privately? Give me a break! you brought this to the public's attention, now you'll have to live with it

And by the way, Babiephat is right. If I were Ducatiguy, I wouldn't even send you a new one.

My response to you $HIT HAPPENS! Grow up!
LOOK MAN... I don't want to start calling you names for not reading on the issue in hand and just yapping because you are his freind or whatever. he Ducati guy could be the best guy in the world but once again and for last time.
---------------
1. I sent 9+ PMs with no response
2. Sent 5+ E-Mails with no response
3. Called his cell 3-4 times and left 2 messages
4. Searched to see if this kind of thing has happend again and found a thread that he had not responded AT ALL when the guy and others had posted so many messages.
all this over 2 week period....
--------------------

NOW. USE your little brain cells and try to think if you were in that situation what you would do.

Once again... Ducatiguy seems like a nice and standup guy as you claim. But as ChicagoX small busness is busness. I WAS NO WAY OUT OF LINE TO BRING BACK A THREAD FROM DEATH which had similar issue as mine.

ALSO, it's not about the money here... and I don't need Ducatiguy to buy another BASSLINK. And I have posted here and PMed him privatly. If it's a lost item in shipping, NO PROBLEM, SH** HAPPENS.

Problem Solved.... YOUR BOX has been sitting at FedEx / Kinko's all this time! They had mislabed it, wrote a little post it on the box, "call customer" but they had NO info on who the customer was. I guess they just figured, the customer would show up again, once they noticed it wasnt delivered. The packaing slip I filled out, was thrown away, and its their policy to hold the package for an undetermined amount of days.

Needless to say, I'm sorry I wasn't able to follow up with it sooner, but man my hands were tied. Just so you know, we had agreed on $150 shipped from the east to west coast (NY to CA), which was originally costing me roughly $20 for shipping (meaning I was only pocketing $130 for the Basslink). Today I upgraded your shipping to overnight at a cost of almost $90, $89.19 to be exact (FedEx Tracking No: 849201737630).

About a dozen people told me (even pleaded) to refund you your $$$, as what you did by digging up dirt (old BS, that you have NO clue what happen, other then people spreading BS), was simply NOT cool!

As for the grill, once and for all, I charged a fee to make custom grills, I got a few in, made a few, then I get one with NO payment, I asked - how did you send me your payment, I mean I could have lost it too, and if that was the case, no worries, I would have done the job for free, but this guy kept saying he sent me a money order, but when asked wheres the reciept CANT FIND ONE. THEN.... I get two other grills shipped to me, all without even prior contact, also NO PAYMENT in each one. When finished and asked for payment, they too reponded with we paid you... wheres the $$$??? we sent you money orders.... Where's the reciepts???? NO ANSWER....

Hence the reason why I swore I would never deal with forums again, and thanks to you, I know better......

This has def. gotten out of hand. Bottom line, it will be resolved one way or the other.

It's sad that ducatiguy's rep has to get dragged through the mud again b/c of this. The first time was BS, even this is a little weak. Sometimes things get lost.

I'm glad he finally got in touch with you, but I agree, just give him a refund and be done with it. No need for the extra drama.

I can vouch like Babiephat, that DG has been extra busy, the last 3 weeks b4 HIN I have been up there on at least 2 occasions working on my car til 1-2 am. Sometime things slip through the cracks, but he was big enough to come here and apologize and try to rectify the situation.

Forget about what I would do, let me tell you what I WOULD NEVER do: I WOULD NEVER HOP ONLINE AND MAKE THIS A PUBLIC ISSUE FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.

This is a private transaction between you and Ducatiguy, and you should settle this privately. You do understand that you're doing nothing but ruining someone's reputation without getting all your facts straight by going public with this?

It's your private transaction and so YOU need to deal with it. No need to get everyone and their moms involved, especially when you go badmouthing someone without knowing the other side of the coin.

If you have communication problems with a seller, figure them out. BUT DON'T GO ONLINE WITH THIS EXPECTING TO GET NOTHING BUT SYMPATHY...

Jon, hopefully you'll change your mind on this, since I know what kind of guy you are.

Show's over folks. G35Coupe_CB and ducatiguy are actively communicating with each other and the issue will be handled privately. There was no malice intended by either of them, so lets not continue with the "should have, could have, and would haves."
