Re: AutoWeek article about G35 Sport Coupe 6-Speed
Is that true that only 15% of the 12,000 Coupes are 6MT's? That's only 1,800 cars! I knew the 6MT was more rare, but not THAT rare?

That's right. It's kind of fun owning such a rare car. I own a 6MT Desert Platinum Coupe. It's sweet. I bought mine last May in Salt Lake City.
If there are only 1800 MT Coupes. That means there are only
257 in each color.
Brilliant Silver 257
Caribbean Blue 257
Desert Platinum 257
Ivory Pearl 257
Laser Red 257
Black Obsidian 257
Diamond Graphite 257
I wonder if certain colors are more rare than others?

Re: AutoWeek article about G35 Sport Coupe 6-Speed
I was told that it only 8% or 832 of the coupes were 6MT.
Also, I believe that IP, CB, DG, and LR might be even hard to come by. I know that typically, Black and Silver colored cars are easier sells so they produce more of them.

Well, based on the last SoCal G35 meet I went to, Blue, red, and Ivory Pearl are the most rare colors. Out of 21 cars that showed up, there were only 2 blue ones, 1 ivory pearl, and no red. The rest were an even mix of silver, graphite, platinum, and black. Lots of beiges, grays, and black - kinda boring!

They gave the Mini COY? God. That's as bad as last years Motor Trend going to Ford's, what was it, the Thunderbird? Pice of trash convertable with that ugly *** circle window in the back. One of the ugliest cars ever, is all i know. Mini's not that bad, but hell no not better than the G.
Re: AutoWeek article about G35 Sport Coupe 6-Speed
The Mini was the NA Auto Show C.O.Y earlier this year (January?). And the main reason the Mini won was that they made the 350Z and G35 compete against each other, which split the votes. Had they put them together as one vote, I'm certain that Nissan Motors would have beat out the Mini.
