Unhappy hit and run... in parking lot

i was coming out of class to day and i saw a slight dent in my rear driver quarter panel, i thought i was just seeing things because my car was parked somewhat by itself , but as i got closer i realized it was a dent this , sux xss

it looked like somone tried to back out of the spot next to mine cut the wheel the hard and didnt turn back an just clipped me a little. theres no paint damage, but i need to get an estimate.

BTW---has anyone used dent wizard. i'm going tmr to infiniti b/c there is an authorized dent wizard guy that comes there every thurday. i'm gonna see what he can do first. any suggestions?

The same happened to my wife with her SUV......it sucks.

I witnessed a guy back his car into someone's Acura RL and he just took off. I took his number down and left a message on the person's winshield with a note and the make/model/license plate of the offenders car.

dent wizard is good but only to a certain extent. sometimes they will drill into the body to reach the dent with a long rod.

All they do after they drill is silicone with a little black circular patch.

If you plan on using dent wizard, ask before hand if they have to drill.

Try pushing the dent out yourself. I've done it to quite a few cars.

unless you know what you're doing, don't touch the dent.

when you start making high spots and distort the single impact into
multiple impacts points, even the pro's will not be able to get it out
clean.

i know cause im training right now to become a pro-PDR tech...and
unless u know exactly how to read the dent and know how to push it
out and by how much, it will only turn into ripples. so, don't touch it...
rear quarters are specially hard on such a long car. consult with
your PDR tech. he will know his limits.

My G was parked on its own in the local Uiniversit's parking lot one night. The car was 3 months old and the first time ever in a parking lot. I get back to my car and see a piece of paper on my windshield. I though it was a parking ticket. It was a note "I'm sorry but I hit your nice car". I wanted to cry. She left a phone number. The girl was 18! She paid to replace my bumper. $1000 CDN.

Some people are decent!

minding her own business driving down the parking lot aisle earlier this week...
