Daytime Running Light help

I attempted to disable the daytime running lights by taking out the 2 blue fuses labeled "DTRL" from the engine bay fuse box.
Sadly to say, it wasn't a success Can anyone please tell me how to disable the daytime running lights?

The previous Lexus IS300 was very easy...simply disconnect one plug located above the headlights. The Celica was also very easy, cut one wire.
Hopefully there is an easy solution for our G as well. Thanks in advance!

Am I missing something here? The 05 coupe does NOT have DRL??? right?

I agree about the IS... just unplug the relay switch.

No, there are no Daytime Running lights on the US version. Only the Canadian version. Funny, I was thinking of a way to turn on the Fog/Highbeams without having to turn on the lowbeams. I think I can figure that out but just never really gotten around to opening the hood much (which is a good thing).

Ask the Dealer...my parents car came with daytime lights, my Dad didn't like them, so the dealer offered to disconnect them.
