If he's missing a fastener, he probably walks ten feet and gets a new one.
That's when having too many left over is a problem.

Hooman
I don't know... Everything is just like second nature with screws, nuts, bolts etc. You kinda already have a second sense of where everything is put back. and I am by no means neat. I have screws and stuff everywhere.

hrm, I guess just take out everything and put it back to stock and bring it on in. I'll give it a shot. I'm not garaunteing(SP) anything b/c sometimes on big job's nissan/infiniti comes to take a peek.

As far as rattles go, thats what test driving is for. I'm going to take the car on a long test drive, and also call up the customer as well and ask permission to take the car home for the night to make sure EVERYTHING is working properly.

I'm hoping I don't hear any abnormal noises.

haha, nice!

The thing that really sucks is that its very unlikely that the wire is adding the current.

Typically when wire goes bad its in one of two ways - open, or short. An open wire will read 0amps, a shorted wire will read 6-800 amps. I can't think of a condition that would read 17amps! It really seems to me that if the motor blower was only causing a problem in the 'high' position that it would be easier to find the wiring issue then replace the ENTIRE harness.

Does the vehicle have Navi? Now would be a great time to add it if it doesn't!!!!

Good luck!

I'd like to know if the harness replacement fixed the problem. Should we all test the A/C at full blast to see if we blow fuses?

If the harness did fix it, I'd also like to know what was wrong with it.

The combination switch is definately way more complicated then it needs to be. I think it would be much easier to add a dedicated toggle switch to turn them on and off independantly of everything else!

Finally finished it today!

What a pain in the A$$ this car was. Well, everything is working fine and not one squeek or rattle. hopefully it will stay like that.

And I saw this as I went on a test drive.
