...is the "aluminum" trim in my 04. I know that this question has been asked a lot in the past but is there a good solution to this yet? (Other than getting an 05 or 06.) I keep hoping that enough interest will spur someone to come up with replacement parts in real aluminum.

The "titanium" trim doesn't bother me at all- I like it- it's not shiny so it doesn't give off distracting glare.

look in the back of car magazines like Car and Driver and Automobile There are companies that replace trim in cars with pretty much whatever you want and they will custom fit it. It will cost a little bit, but quality usually does.

I would love to have the 05's setup but I don't want to give up my cassette player!

There is a carbon fibre kit you can get which covers all of it plus more. Search around and you'll find it. It's like $300 or more though
