You realize that by posting pics of Gord's kit you may be violating his trademark?

I consider it rude to ask for pics of the Gord's grounding kit install, he spent time/money determining where to put the grounds, and probably doesn't appreciate the information being given away.

I figure most people asking for the pics will download them then go buy their own 4 gauge wire

Im sorry for being "rude." My intentions were never to do such a thing as to take the pics and figure out how to do it myself, lol tongiht i tried to take my engine cover off with no success so i am very "non mechanical" (word?). I was only asking because im a newb and just wanted to see wut it wud look like. I have actually been talking with gord and am about ready to order from him, i have no intentions of ruining what he does, hes a really good guy and has helped me out a lot. A ADMIN can remove the thread if he would like. Sorry for any trouble i caused?

Grounding kits supposedly improve shifting and smooths idling.

It's not rocket science to know where to find grounding points, you just find the factory grounds and ground those better, to the trottle body, etc...and you can get grounding locations/instructions from any member willing to help out. Gord isnt the only one that makes a kit.

So if you own this kit, you can never take a picture of your engine bay? Sounds pretty ridiculous to me.

If his kit is just a bunch of un-modified wires and some instructions, then he has no business selling it. He needs to give people a reason to buy them or else people will do what you said, and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

Now if you were photocopying his instruction manual and it was copyrighted, then there might be a problem. But other than that, there is nothing wrong with posting the locations to put the wires.

Don't worry about him, he is overreacting. You didn't do anything wrong.

I agree....
Besides Gord has put up tons of info himself, check the DIY files. (pics may be screwed up now)

Most of Gords business is through dealer networks anyway.
He give us a break just to help us out.... Super guy

posting a few pics of my engine bay is not a problem....most of the grounding points are not identified (you can only see a few in the pics)

lol to the guy that started this please look at your engine bay..

Like someone else said its obvious enough where the points are.. hell if you go get the wiring diagram for a G35 you can reground your whole car if you're bored..

give me an IM if you need help installing the kit.. but his instructions are step by step and very easy to fallow
