Very cool movie. Some people say this is a dead file. I viewed it in windows media player. D_Nyholm, were you able to tell how fast you were going?

"I have looked in motor trend and there are very few cars that are faster then this one and if they are the either cost over 100k or they are straight sports cars. "

the $25k WRXs are faster and cheaper.

Yeah, very true. It's not really a true sport's car in the vein of a Z or a Vette either.

I couldn't find my login, I had to create a new one.

I used to live in Lago right out on the lake so I have driven 1431 quite a bit. Nice drive! I live in the Circle C area now so it gets suprsingly beautiful right down on where Mopac ends. You can wind through dripping springs or any number of directions. Thats my new favorite drive.

I will try the Blue Bonnet this weekend and give you an update. Let me know if you end up getting a G and maybe we can have a little race out that way. 1431 is loaded with cops though, you gotta look out.

There are sedan and wagon WRX's. But things like an S4 Avant is definitely a sport's car.

Re: Any G35 races lately???

CoupeSport322, I have the sedan version of the G. I would have picked the coupe if it were out while looking at the sedan. At the time I was looking at the G35s, I needed a new car right away and did not have the luxury of time. I am not one bit disappointed in my car choice. Still wish I had a coupe. Lots of nice winding scenic roads in dripping springs. Hamilton pool road is nice as well. I would love to go to the Blue Bonnet Cafe some time. Maybe not this weekend, but next? Let me know. My name is Mike

Well, it is formatted in MPEG2, you need to get that codec. Microsoft doesn't make one so what I did was download the Elecard MPEG2 Player (search on yahoo), installed it and then opened the movie in windows media player. Then it worked fine.

At the end of the race, we were going about 95 mph, give or take a few.

Re: Any G35 races lately???

"heh yeah mustangs are so slowwwww for their engine size but they sound so dam nice, great job on the exhaust note for ford, if only they can do the same with the engine's performance/reliability"

You've obviously never hooked up with a '03 Mustang Cobra. Sure they've got reliability issues but hey, $1500 in mods (pulley, chip, exhaust) get you 500rwhp! No, that's not a typo! I've seen it on a dyno, and at the track where they run in the 11's with a skilled driver and drag radials. Just thinking about that kind of power makes me want to trade in ....well maybe for the '05 Mustang!

Tom
