No, I believe Randy is flirting with the high 12's... I think we all just respect people who know enough not to post BS like this, that's all.

what bs?

it's not like it didn't run on the dyno..

I did a simulated dyno run. it was fun.
I stated in the first post that it was on a dyno, and that i recorded an UNREALISTIC 60' time.
you guys have bugs up your asses.

EDIT: Also FLIRTING with high 12s = really can only get low 13s. which is PATHETIC in a FI car.

Thanks, Todd. But if the Stimpster actually read my post above, I wrote that I too ran on a Mustang Dyno and it said I ran a 14.7! Oh, also, it IS possible to burn out on that dyno...I did...1st and 2nd gear and axle hopped one of my runs.

I never said you can't burn out.. in fact i said YOU CAN BURN OUT..
cause the drum weighs 4700# and does not spin instantly.

and again.. this post was about a fun EXPERIENCE.
I, IN NO WAY WHAT SO EVER, said it was valid.

You're just pissed cause a stock car did better than you.

Get over it.

Not really if you think about it. Stock performance tires for the car are a very hard wall tire, much better for autox, track use, or just general handling applications. Winter tires have a much softer wall, and actually do pretty damn good on 1/8 and 1/4 mile drags because when you air them down enough, they hook, like crazy. Im not saying theyre better, but they can be used to pretty good effect...

Sounds like we have material for an episode of "Pinks" to me... Somebody call SpeedVision...

I can't wait for the show host to say "what are you asking for..." and the guy says snow tires on a dyno... Great!!!
