6MT Problems

I am in the market to buy a 6MT coupe, what are the problems with that vehicle? (ie, brakes, ride, turning, EVERYTHING)

Life is to short to argue on the Internet!

Re: 6MT Problems

Problems…People keep staring at me on the road. I spend too much time talking about my car at the gas station. All my friends want to drive it. One time I was walking to my car and someone was taking pictures of it. Valet can't go in reverse. People working for $6.25 at the fast food drive though hate you... Oh you mean mechanical!! The sift **** vibrates more that I'd like. Other then that, it just keeps getting better.

Re: 6MT Problems

Do a little bit of reading on the site. You will read about more problems with the car than anything else. Hardly anyone posts just to say that they haven't had any problems. If they did, you would see a lot of boring posts every day. However, reading about the problems gives you an idea of the potential for it to happen. It doesn't happen to everyone, but you can see when it occurs what others have done to remedy it.

I've had my 6MT Coupe for over two months now with 2100 miles on it and the only problem I have is the grease streak on both driver's and passenger windows. No big deal, Infiniti is going to replace the offending parts. Other than that, my car has been trouble free.

Re: 6MT Problems

I've had mine for 4 months. No problems, but I did get a recall notice on the brake lamp and seat heater button.

Re: 6MT Problems

3 months and 2200 miles and have not had any problems at all. I am wondering if my tranny is going to act up

Are you serious? If it would happen to me, I would ask to get a brand new car! I sure as hell would not keep a car that broke down on me so early.
