I was driving in Salt Lake City on July 12, 2003. It was bloody hot that day. I took a picture of my outside temperature gauge. 107 degrees. What's that highest temperature you have seen on your gauge? I sure people in Las Vegas or Arizona have seen higher.

Re: Hottest Outside Temperature
We took our new coupe on its first road trip to Las Vegas the weekend before the 4th of July. Outside temp hit 114-degrees on the road to Hoover Dam. Damn!!
Back on "The Strip" it was a comfortable 112.
Remind me again why people actually LIVE there?

Re: Hottest Outside Temperature
It's funny you posted this...I just tried to take a picture of my dash last night but my batteries were dead. This weekend was the highest my gauge has been so far...118 degrees! I wanted to take the picture last night because it was at 110 degrees and that was at 9pm. Of course it's only a "dry heat". :-P
btw...I'm in Phoenix

Re: Hottest Outside Temperature
Haven't hit the 3 digits yet in the G temperature wise.. but I just got off the phone with a client in Arizon and he's at 124 degree's right now.. He said they have temperature advisor's and the *** fault's is like 95 to 100 degree's; HOWEVER, he said he's glad he's not in Ohio where its 10 to 20 degree's because the snow really messed up his car's and homes... He'd rather live in the sun and have fun instead of living like some joe blow in the snow...

Hi Felix. People live in LV because real estate is still reasonable and best of all....NO STATE INCOME TAX.
