The auto shift **** changed in 04.5, early 04's have the same **** as 03's. The only difference off the top of my head is the tire pressure monitoring system which wasn't available on 03's.

Minor changes and improvements were made mostly from owner & dealer feedback... The Japanese manufacturers have been doing this at least twice every production year since the early 70’s… I chose the 04.5 because of the Brembo’s and all the updates etc. before the 05 came out… G35’s keep getting better but all are very nice machines

Go to http://www.nissannews.com/ Infiniti section, you can find all tech. info and more about all models & years.

If I am not mistaken, the center console changed slightly between 03 and 04 as well.

04.5 = 2004 and a half.

Changes should be extremely minimal. The 03/04's are very much regarded as identical...however the 05's have signifigant changes such as interiors, rims, lights, and brakes.
