clicking sound from rear end-passenger side

hey ya'll
has anyone notice or heard of a clicking sound(just one click, per ger, 1st, 2nd, sometimes 3rd, thats it) as slow take offs? I only noticed this when going slow in the neighborhood(high curbs, sounds bounce), when passing by a building, or occasionally on a backroad. It happens right after a shift(2k-2.5k rpm) right after the clutch is let completely out, sounds like from the passenger rear wheel? I plan to have the dealer check out in 1500 miles at my 10k oil change. wierd or my imagination? just putting some feelers out there.

its a bearing in your rear axle, you need to go to the dealer and get it replaced. They will do it for free. There is a recall on those.

Clicking

I noticed a clicking sound today. After I shift, and let off the gas, I hear a click. Not all the time. Is this the same your hearing. I don't know where it's coming from.

I had that problem on my 04. Its your rear axles. Just go to the dealer. I think there was a TSB on it.

hey everyone, I went to the dealer to get it checked out and yes you all were right. There is a TSB on the rear axle. The parts are on national back order. so to compensate me, they detailed my car(inside and out, and not that it needed it), filled my ride up with gas(17 gallons!), and allowed me to have the loaner for three days(brand new G35x)! Great service once again for Infiniti of Dublin in Columbus Ohio!

PieroG35, yes what you described was the sound I am hearing. Drop by the dealer to get the parts on order for your ride, that what they did for me, and once it comes in, they will call to schedule an appointment to fix. G/L
