Vibration and alignment problem at 7k miles?

Hi guys,

I need help and opinion here. My car is the 05 model, and it only has 7k miles on it, and just recently I felt the steering, the shift **** and the driver seat vibrating really strong eventhough the roads are very smooth. The alignment seem a little off too. It slowly moves to the right eventhough the steering is kept straight. It's not that obvious yet, just when you really pay attention to it, then you'll be able to tell that it's off slightly.
The main problem is the vibration. It doesn't feel like how it used to be when I first bought the car. You can't feel the vibration when you're at the passenger seat. The vibration starts when it's above 40mph, usually really strong when it's around 65mph.
I drive about 48 miles one way each day, and the roads that I go through are pretty bumpy and full of potholes (Philly road suxs!).
Experts out there, is this normal at only 7k miles? Anyone with the same problem or is it just my luck?
I don't want to bring it in to the dealer just yet, in case it doesn't get covered by the warranty, and it'll cost a fortune to get it 'checked' out.
Opinions?

I would say it has to be alignment and/or wheel balance.
It's time consuming and a PITA, but if you're having difficulty finding out which it is, have someone drive beside you and note any wheel bounce at all 4 corners when it's at its worst.
If that doesn't point to any out of balance issue, then swapping wheels/tires with a ride with good balance would tell you if it's balance or not. You could change one at a time to further narrow it down to which wheel(s).

I'm assuming that you've not lost any wheel weights or otherwise damaged any wheels/tires.....Look for obvious damage and lost weights.

You might consider a good, careful wheel balance at a reputable shop b4 doing anything. Check around to see who is good and has the latest equipment.

Wheel alignment should be covered under warranty until 12k miles or one year....check your warranty booklet and talk to the dealer.
