New Tranny at 5300 miles! My baby is happy again!

For anyone in Nor. Cal that is having tranny problems, I highly recommend taking your car to Peninsula Infiniti. I can't say much for their sales department, but their service team is awesome! In just 2 days, they replaced the tranny (grinding noise between 2nd and 3rd), the brake switch, seat harness, and the lower control arm. They even threw in a free detail because they didn't have a loaner car when I showed up for my appointment, so I had to go back the next day.

They did put 70 or so miles on my car...but all in all, I'm a happy camper!

Vq35girl,
I like the service at Peninsula as well. One question, Why did your lower contror arm need replacing??.
I have heard of a recall if your car pulls to the right, how much did your G35 pull?? or was that just an automatic replecement regardless.

It did pull a little, but I figured I would just tell them to replace it because everyone is getting it replaced. =) Milk the service while you still can!

Just curious...look at your driver's inside door and tell me when your car was built please.....anything after 4/03 I believe got an updated tranny and suspension fix.

Wow...my build date is 4/03/03. Wonder where that puts me...

No outright gear grinding yet (2150 miles) but an occasional slight catch on shifts. No pulling to the right either...
