A little warning

Well i order a set of factory replica 18s from oe wheel distributors in sarasota florida got the wheels they were very nice good quality mounted all my tires put the backs on and then went to put the fronts on turns out the guy had the mold made off a back wheel which means it didnt fit the front so i called him and he asked if i could make it fit. i said i would have my tech try. Well after putting on spacers and shavinga little metal out they fit but i wasnt very happy with it at all so im probably going to send them back just thought id warn any one that had seen them they are on ebay so just look out.

i think i've read about this before on this forum. apparantly there is a screw in the front brakes/calipers(??) that does not allow the back rims to fit onto the front. if u take those screws out then there shouldn't be a problem (the screws do not affect any functionality of the vehicle when removed, only there as a guide for the rims). is that the problem that u had? if it is... run a search u should find it posted somewhere on here.

just fyi: the rear oem rims do fit the front. there is a bolt that prevents this but can be easily removed. this is what probably caused the replicas to give you some trouble.

That would work execpt for the fact that it didnt clear the brembos at all hence the need for the spacer.

Those wheels are +35 offset not the +30 from OEM that you need to clear the brembos.

Damn sorry to hear that.

I would return them and just get a used set..

I ended up with 5 OEM 18's that had a few scratches on them that I wasnt really happy with for 350$.. One of them was in great condition (replaced one in poorest condition) and I kept that, and sold the other 4 in as-is condition for 379$. Meaning I made 40$ and got a free rim. You would be better off buying used OEMs off ebay than those replicas.
