Just for reference.. If anyone ever has this happen to them and has debris from a truck hit them, be it on the windsheild, bumper, anywhere try and get their information, be it their license plate, or their company name so you can call them and deal with them. They usually shouldnt put up too much of a fight paying for the deductable or damage prices.

I have aftermarket (PPG) and it's perfect, no issues with wipers or anything.

So you are either lying to make yourself feel better or not telling the whole truth.

I went for a $300 aftermarket screen. 6500 miles later it has been hit many times but has no pits, stars or cracks, and the wipers don't give a ****. They work fine.
Btw, it's not just about the quality of the screen but the stresses in it once it is installed.

Why would I care to make myself feel better infront of people I don't know? So either Safelite made the mistake by undercharging the complete setup or the windshield magically appeared during the day. How much were they charging to fix it? They quote me $15. Am I trying to make myself feel better again mister know it all?
thanks for all the advice. i will not be going to an infiniti dealer to get my windshield replaced. in fact, the head mechanic at the dealer here in town recommended a couple auto glass shops. if my insurance doesn't cover it, i'll throw a tissy fit, because there's a reason i wanted a $100 deductible on comprehensive. best case scenario my insurance picks up the whole tab.
maybe while she's at the glass shop i'll get some nice tints put on too... ideas ideas
also thinking about buying borla exhaust this winter while the g is camped in the garage. maybe coilovers too.
