comprehensive insurance ended up covering it, i paid my $100 deductible. guy at the glass shop said it wouldve cost me around 300 otherwise.

while she was in the glass shop i got some nice tints put on ($160), i just went with the legal limit. cops are so bored around here (at least in sarpy county) that they actually do pull people over for stupid **** like dark tints. 35% fronts, 20% for the rest, no tint on windshield.
