My 6mt feels SLOWER

I took my car into infiniti since 5th gear was grinding. They replaced the transmission and put in a new clutch disc. The clutch is a lot softer now. But here's my problem. The car feels slower. Is it because of the new tranny and clutch? Will it become faster again?

Do you have an 04 or 05? The thing i noticed about the 05 is that the clutch got softer..as well as brakes. If you have an 03-04, maybe they replaced your tranny and clutch with the one on the 05?

It is probably because they pulled the battery terminals off while working on the car and reset the computer. This reset all your learned fuel trims and made your car lose some power. You will get back to normal in a few days.

yeah my car is an 04, yeah i was thinkin that too that they might have disconnected the battery and the car was at the shop for a few nights. But what a world of difference in the clutches from 04-05.
