Strange noise coming from the right side of the car???

I was driving for the first time today with both windows rolled down and noticed this strange kind of squeeking noise coming from the right side especially when accelerating from 0-40 mph. It is not a break noise and it sounds more like something needs to be lubed but what?
Have you experienced anything similar to this? I once drove an Oldsmobile Cutlass Sierra which did that but didn't expect my G 35 at 14.000 miles to do it as well.

Wheel bearing? Tire rubbing against the inner fenderwell/splashguard?

It is not a clicking noise.Probably more like a wheel bearing or the splash guards. I don't know how to determine it. It is similar to a noise of a seat of an older bycicle when you sit on it.

I have a high-pitched squealing noise (similar to shaving metal) that comes from my rear right axle, but it comes as goes. What kind of click noise is this?

Sounds like a possible spindle/bearing issue..

If it's not brakepads dragging on disks, it could be wheel bearings, or it's most likely the warning for worn brake pads.
I'd start there.

does your mom ride with you in the passenger seat?

OHH snap!

that was a joke in poor taste, and i apologize.

Which is sort of funny because the driver's seat in my g35 kinda squeaks on certain days. Also, the passenger's and, I can only presume, the driver's seat visibly shake at speed. I can't remember if my other cars did this, but maybe something is loose in the seat? Otherwise, have you maybe tried pushing down on the right hand side of your car while outside? See if you can get it to squeak at all.

I have the same problem, and yes it goes away when I hit the brakes. I was thinking it was brake pad indicators, but I've only got ~15K on the car. What do you think?

Thanks for the updated link.It really sounds like a wheel bearing.I am positive it is not the worn out brake pads noise.I noticed it when I was driving alone and it is not the seat but it comes from the outside.I hear it when going over speed bumps. My car is made in March of 2004 so it seems like I don't fall into the category of cars that are affected by the rear axle problem. The questions is: is it dangerous to drive like that? I can maybe deal with the noise but what if the car falls apart when I am on the freeway or something.
I am going for my 15.000 miles service in a month and I will tell the dealer but knowing them, they will say there is nothing wrong.

Click my name, go to view profile. Find all posts by me. Sift through till you find the ones about the rear axle ticking. I've gone through 3 warranty repairs for it, so I know the problem quite well, I just dont feel like retyping an essay. Its more than likely in the G35 vs Rx8 post because I put that as one of the "cons" to the G35.
