Break in Period

Hey, I am just wondering how many miles is the break in period..

I started to rev my car around 1500mi.

Am i in trouble?

WHAT THE HELL 1,500?!!!! dude are u crazy.. thats way too early! dont you read TSBs? take your car to infiniti and tell them you werent aware of the break-in period.. they'll set u up right with a new motor to start over

My bad..

****....I am revving my G everyday since 2000mi and now it is about 2200mi.

Are u serious abt changing the whole engine? haha...

Anywaz...when should i have my first service done?

lol sorry about that.. we get a "Break-In" thread here every week or so.. gets a bit annoying after a while. and NO i was not serious about the engine thing lol. IMO get an oil change if u havnt already had one.. just do a search on "engine break-in period" or something and read up

Did you receive an Owner's Manual?

The 1st schedule service is at 3750 miles.

Ask any more silly questions and Klumzyee will go over to your house and beat the Gee out of your car.

Btw..anyone interested for a drive around the mountains at night?

Woodside road...its hella fun driving there at nite... Crazy Bends.... Promise u either understeer or oversteer every corner..haha...

Or we can go to highway 9...

Start out at hwy35 at the 4 corners (Alice's restaurant) and head down to Santa Cruz. That's one hell of a run.

Leasing my ride...does anyone really believe that I bought this car and am not driving the hell out of it from the get go? Engine has hours on it before it gets to the dealer.
