I guess there's a first time for everything, but a convertible GT-R seems like one helluva oxymoron. But yet another model to bridge the huge gap between a (currently) loaded coupe and the GT-R wouldn't be hard to believe.

Rumored or not.... I don't see where the market is asking for that type of car. I don't see the Lexus selling that well anyway. Do they really want to change just to take that part of the market?
I've seen pages talking about a convertible....also a STATIONWAGON.

I heard the same in the spring. It wouldn't be so hard to do either, look at the Eclipse, 3000 gt, and the camry. All are coupes and look great as convertibles! If they make this a Folding hardtop, man I will have a tough time choosing between a Z and a G convertible.

imo, the G wont look good in a convertible. it will lose it's curves like the Z, never looked good with the top up. a hard top convertible would be nice
I wouldn't like the extra heft tho. without a 4.5 liter option.
A 'G45 H/T convertible'.......wouldn't that be nice?
