How has your G35 been reliability wise?

I have to say, it's been pretty reliable. Only thing is when the driver side window rolls up, it makes this scratching sound when it is almost to the top. No biggy. Oh, and the stupid BLOSE head unit and the dumb treble resetting (you have to adjust the treble up or down and it will be fine). Yep, love it.
BTW, what the hell is this car?!?!
Current: 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe M6 Sport

if u want a car thats reliable than anything else, get a toyota/lexus, or Honda/Acura.
Nissan/Infiniti do not really fill the bill for "great reliability", however, it's overall ok i think.
for the things u listed (such as goodlooking, good power, etc..), G35 coup is def. the car. but if u want the best reliability, i wouldnt put G35 at the top of the list. if u willin to shell out a few more bucks, get the IS350 thats comeing out. exterior is not as good as G35 (its more plain but still good looking), but interior is 10X better than G35 or any Nissan/Infiniti. its got great power, 4 doors, and handles well..altho more computerized feelin on the handling!!
however, to most of us, the positives on the G35C outweighs the negatives!...
goodluck!!

2003 coupe with 19K on the odometer. The only issues have been rear tire replacement (both) due to center wear which seems be be common with no concrete solution. Also the front brakes have been replaced twice under warranty. I'm sure if I keep it another year or two I will again have to replace the brakes and tires again.

At the risk of jinxing myself: I have a 2004 AT with just over 18k miles. I have had no problems. Also, realize that when you start a thread like this, it is usually the small percentage of people who have had problems that even bother to read your post. They then are the ones who respond. As a result, your informal survey is skewed to show more problems. The best thing to do is to go to Consumer Reports or some unbiased source that studies these things. BTW - I love my car and it seems that even the people who have had problems feel the same way. Good luck.

2003.5 model, 32k miles
I've brought it in for almost all of the TSB's....all were fixed for free under warranty, but still, damn annoying.
Various rattles (windows, rear view mirror, ...), rear axle click, "CD ERROR F0" problem, both window regulators replaced twice, both window motors replaced, license plate bolts stuck on rear (random yes), e-brake not working...
All I can think of off the top of my head. =/
