Anyone do test pipes on the G?

I was just under the car for 1hr... trying to do this mod and only ended up scratching my 19" and didnt get anywhere.

I was not able to get to the 3 bolts on top of the cat's to get them loose. Anyone did this on their own successfully... if so, tips and tricks would good.

thanks

I had a lift when I did mine, but the best way to get to the 3 bolts is from the top. You need a long extension (I used a 34") for the driver side, but the pass. side has to be done from the bottom. If you have any questions just PM me.

Well there are 3 bolts on the driver side....

the bottom one is facing front the 2 on top have one facing the front the other the back. I just have no clue how they got them in there. I didnt get to the passnager side... i gave up.

If i remember correctly, i was able to get atleast two bolts from the passenger side and all bolt from the driver side using a lot of socket extensions from the engine bay. The one (most bottom) bolt on the passenger side can be reached underneath the car.

as for the difference in sound yes, you will hear the rasp with the test pipe. atleast with my helix.

Car looks tight...both of them
Just wondering how much power you have to the wheels with that stillen s/c. I wasn't sold on that hood...but from your pics; I'm thinking twice about a stillen s/c...good luck with it.

Before I pulled my motor I did the high flo's. The right tools will help a LOT! I got a couple of the nuts from the top.
