UPhill chatter chatter...

is there anyway to smoothly start off of 1st gear while stopped on a hill?? damn it chatters like crazy!!! i guess the e-braking method but has anyone mastered this? i use the e-brake method on steep hills, but even on little hills....there's crazy chatter! thanks.

on a side note... i hear that they changed the clutch on the new 06's and there's no more chatter at all....anyone know anything about this?

A bit more gas as you lift off the clutch pedal will help. Some people tend to ride the clutch a bit too long.

id hafta say its mostly how ur working the clutch....not much reason for it to chatter...happens to me every now and again on a bad hill. but not every time, so Im pretty sure its just the way u let off the clutch sometimes

When you just feel it to begin to chatter let the clutch out while giving it a bit of gas. The normal tendency (chatter related) is to ride that clutch too long. Good luck!
