Best driver w/best launch will win provided that the shifts clean.

I dont' think that the weight is that big of a deal. Everyone says how much the sedan weighs less than the coupe, giving it a huge advantage. It's just not that big.

weights listed on the Infiniti.com website for coupe are:
Base model 3,416 lbs
Leather model 3,422 lbs
Leather 6MT model 3,435 lbs
sedan:
Base model 3,336 lbs
Leather model 3,369 lbs
Leather 6MT model 3,398 lbs

37 lb difference between both 6-speed models. If you're going to aruge the weight thing, then start asking how much drivers weigh, how full their gas tank is...

I think coupe wins

2003.5 6MT Coupe || Black/Graphite || Premium || Aero || Tint || Al. Pedals

Driver's race. Although with 5ATs, it'd be more like a brake booster's race.

obviously intelligence isnt your strong suit...

i was referring to the weight difference of the two cars... not the weight difference of the the stock intake versus injen cai.

Given the weight of the topic at hand. We shouldn't be at each other's throats.

Ivry 6mt sed
Injen CAI, 22" resonator
8X18 Enkei RPM2 45mm
Kumho MX 245/40
350Z springs&struts

Dryhavok makes a good point and I agree with him. All things equal (6mt vs. 6mt, gas tanks full, driver's weight identical, etc. etc.), the coupe wins.... This is also assuming the same jump off the line and identical shifting at identical rpm levels....

My opinion (given the long list of assumptions) --> Stock coupe wins over a Sedan with a CAI, because the CAI cannot make up 20hp....

People who say that money cannot bring happiness never drove a G35 Sport Coupe!
